We have been profoundly grateful for being given the opportunity to treat so many different individuals from different walks of life. Our commitment is stronger than ever to provide our patients with the very best in product and service. Each patient and case are unique. Ensuring complete peace of mind to our patients is what we strive to do today, tomorrow, together and forever!

In 2008 Furqaan Khamissa started his journey in the field of Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics In 2012 he qualified from Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and now holds a BTech degree in Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics
He then spent a number of years employed at Wentworth Hospital providing orthopedic services where he gained a vast level of experience in the field while serving communities throughout the KZN area.
In 2016 he ventured into the private sector starting his own private practice. Our doors first opened in September 2016 in Port Shepstone on the KZN South Coast.
A few months later , we were offered to take over the running of an established practice within the Durban Overport area.
In December 2016,our doors reopened at our current address 78 Julia road, Overport. Serving the greater community and surrounding hospitals in Durban.
Since then, Furqaans practice has grown and now has 3 Orthotists & Prosthetis, including female Orthotists & Prosthetists. He also has 3 admin staff and a full time practice manager.
Furqaan covers the greater Durban area and is able to provide any and all orthotics & prosthetic intervention or procedures that are required for patients that are in or out of hospital.
Furqaans practice contains a fully fledged in-house lab where all orthotics and prosthetics are custom made to suit the needs of the individual needs of the patient.
Furqaan is registered with HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and SAOPA (South African Orthotic & Prosthetic Association).
Furqaan continues to enhance his knowledge and skills by attending courses both locally & internationally.
He is C-Leg , Kenevo and Genium certified. He also holds cranial certification to treat cranial deformities using advanced scanning technologies and FDA approved helmets.
